Tom Paulson
Tom is science reporter for the Seattle Post Intelligencer. He has covered science and medicine at the PI for nearly 20 years. He is a Seattle area native who obtained a BS in chemistry from Pacific Lutheran University and built houses as a general contractor before pursuing a journalism career. Among his recent accomplishments, he was able to accompany and report on the work of a scientific survey team in Sri Lanka immediately following the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.
