Jay Inslee
Jay is a Washington State congressman in the U.S. House of Representatives. He works to protect the environment, enhance the economy, and address problems such as global warming, clean energy and community disaster preparedness. He helped secure passage of the U.S. Tsunami Warning and Education act, which became Public Law on 20 December 2006. This law now governs U.S. policy with regard to tsunami hazard mitigation. Jay holds a degree in Economics from the University of Washington and earned his Law degree from Willamette University.
