Ms. Charlie MacPherson
Charlie is Vice President of International Programs at Tetra Tech, Inc., an environmental engineering firm with operations in more than 34 countries. She has more than 20 years of experience in supporting environmental programs and translating technical concepts into formats understood by various audiences. Under the U.S. AID-funded Indian Ocean Tsunami Warning System Program she provides outreach support to communicate the key activities being conducted under this program to support the UN’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) to develop an end-to-end multi-hazard system. In addition, Ms. MacPherson serves on the Advisory Board of the International Tsunami Training Institute (ITTI).
