Christopher Moore
Christopher received a Bachelor's degree in physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1992 and a Master's in Physical Oceanography from the University of Washington in 1996. He is a member of the NOAA Center for Tsunami Research at the Pacific Marine Environmental Lab in Seattle, working on model and forecast systems development. He is also involved in coupling atmosphere and ocean models in parallel environments using MPI, and over computational grids including the TeraGrid, and has done work developing immersive 3D and GIS applications. Christopher does some coastal oceanography fieldwork, and occasionally teaches Ocean 101 at Seattle Central Community College.
