Russell Jackson
Russell is Coastal Hazards Program Coordinator for the NOAA Pacific Services Center, helping federal, state, local, and territorial governments address coastal hazard issues. He also serves as Executive Director of the Pacific Risk Management `Ohana (PRiMO), an interagency working group that has evolved in the Pacific Islands to help enhance collaboration among numerous federal, state, county, private, academic and NGO representatives and stakeholders that have disaster risk management roles. Russell has served as an instructor for numerous training courses including: Community Vulnerability Assessment Tool Methodology, The Coastal Zone Management Role in Managing Hazards, Assessing Coastal Community Resilience. Mr. Jackson received a BS in Community and Rural Development from Clemson University.
